Hole Editions was established in Newcastle in 2005 by Lee Turner who has many years of printmaking experience in all aspects of traditional printmaking techniques. He studied Fine Art Printmaking at Manchester in 1996, went on to MFA from Newcastle University in 1998, and then on to the internationally renowned Tamarind Institute at the University of New Mexico in 2004, where he received the Tamarind Master Printer Certificate. Since then Lee has printed at the University of Canterbury, New Zealand and at The Artists' Press in South Africa.
