Nicola Gladwin
I have lived and worked in France for the last 30 years. I make a range of oven to table ware in small series and one off wall pieces.
I use a mixture of clays sourced in the U.K. and Normandy. The work is thrown sometimes altered and textured in areas and then decorated with layers of slip using sponges, paper resist and slip trailing.
The finished pieces are raw glazed and fired in an electric kiln to 1100°c.’
