Welcome to the website for Gallagher & Turner, specialist picture framer and art gallery. When we first opened in Newcastle City Centre in 1990, our aims were to provide both as extensive and as high a standard of service in framing as possible.  Through the years, because of this, we have completed many diverse and exciting framing projects for collectors, artists, galleries and museums.

 We treat every item as special; small textiles may seem humble compared to large oils, but may have taken much more time to create.  Framing is an art form in presentation, but is also a skill: it is about preservation, knowledge of materials and careful handling, all learnt over years of experience.

 We do gilding and frame restoration, provide a picture conservation service, picture installation services, and all our framing is carried out on site in our own workshop in St Thomas Street.
