Artist Statement
I am a visual artist and educator working with drawing, painting, print and artists books.
My practice is informed by the natural world around me. This has grown from an observation of the small and intimate workings of nature into an exploration of the landscape and my personal relationship to place.
My role over the past twenty-five-years as an educator has involved working with a wide variety of people and with a diverse range of skill levels. I have worked with socially engaged projects, art in healthcare and with primary, secondary, higher and further education.
